Rami "Inori" Charagh is the jungler for Phoenix1.

Biography

Rami "Inori" Charagh was born in Baghdad, Iraq and currently lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He received multiple invitations to join amateur teams for the North American Challenger Series, and has played for COGnitive Gaming and Denial Esports (from March 21, 2014 to July 12, 2014).

2015 Preseason

On September 30th, 2014 Liquid Inori became a founding member of a new Enemy eSports lineup, along with teammates cackgod, Wolfe, otter, and Bodydrop. The team took second in the Fall Black Monster Cup, losing to Team LoLPro in the finals.

Enemy eSports qualified for the Spring Expansion Tournament via the ranked 5's ladder under the name The cackson 5. In the Expansion Tournament they won their first-round match against Noble Truth 2-0 but then lost 0-2 to Team Fusion in the second round of the tournament and were eliminated.

In December 2014, Inori joined Roar. With the team, he competed in the NACS 2015 Spring Qualifier, but they were knocked out by Cloud9 G2A in the first round. Shortly after, Inori left the team.[1]

2015 Season

In March 2015, after Azingy left TSM Darkness to play for Team Dignitas in the LCS and then Sojin substituted for them for one week, Inori joined TSM Darkness and jungled for them in the last two weeks of the Spring Challenger Season. The team finished in fifth place in the season, after winning a tiebreaker game against CLG Black. When the team renamed to Elomingle after losing TSM's sponsorship, Inori left and later joined Odyssey Gaming. After entering the NACS Summer Qualifier with the top ladder seed, they were eliminated in the second round of their bracket by Cloud9 Tempest.

2016 Season

After being a substitute for Team Dignitas for the first half of the year, Inori joined Phoenix1, the organization that purchased Team Impulse's NA LCS Summer Season seed, in May.[2] Faced with visa problems, Inori was unable to play for the start of the split, and Phoenix1 was forced to add a substitute jungler Zentinel to their roster, who competed for them for the first three weeks. In that time, Phoenix1 lost all of their series and won only two games total, cementing themselves in last place, behind Echo Fox. Their winless streak continued after Inori's return and through their first series of the fifth week, at which point they had a 3-18 game record and 0-9 series record. In the second series of that week, however, they picked up their first series win against Apex Gaming, with a comeback 2-1 victory after dropping the first game. After this first win, their record improved significantly, and in the second half of the season they went a combined 5-4 - not enough to keep them out of relegations, but enough to surpass both Echo Fox and NRG in the standings for a top seed in the promotion tournament, where they requalified for the LCS with an easy 3-0 win over Echo Fox.

Trivia

  • Enjoys playing baseball and basketball
  • Thinks playing support at high Elo is fun and wouldn't mind switching to that role.
  • Name comes from the character "Inori" from the anime "Guilty Crown."
